On August 30 and 31, students of Volunteer Saport Station (hereinafter referred to as "Borasapo"), an extracurricular activity group of Kanazawa University, and their advisor, Lecturer Kaisei Harada from Faculty of Economics and Management, Institute of Human and Social Sciences, participated in the "22nd National University Consortium Research Exchange Forum" held at Kobe Gakuin University.

On the 30th, the Noto Reconstruction Market was held, featuring a variety of products from the Noto region. Together with students from Kobe Gakuin University and Kogakuin University, items such as dried seafood, Ishiru (fermented fish sauce), and fugu (pufferfish) ovary pickled in rice bran—commonly sold at the Wajima Morning Market—were offered for sale, along with traditional crafts including Wajima lacquered chopsticks, Wajima lacquer confectionery trays, and goods from Juzo Shrine in Wajima City. On the 31st, Borasapo students participated as a panelist in a student discussion session and presented a report on volunteer activities. The students shared details of the support efforts carried out following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and the 2024 Oku-Noto Heavy Rain, discussed the importance of continued support, and expressed ideas for future initiatives in disaster preparedness.
