On August 30, students of Volunteer Support Station, an extracurricular activity group of Kanazawa University, held a Noto Recovery Market to sell Noto products at a Tuegen Kanazawa home game and a disaster prevention quiz event for children.
At the Noto Recovery Market, students themselves selected and sold a wide variety of products, including dried goods and Wajima lacquered chopsticks commonly found at the Wajima Morning Market, as well as sweets and beverages from Suzu City and Noto Town. During the disaster preparedness quiz event, questions were presented on topics such as evacuation during emergencies, risk management, and everyday preparedness. Through this activity, children were taught how to protect their lives in a fun and engaging way.
This project was made possible through the cooperation of Kanazawa Energy Co., Ltd. and Ishikawa Tsegen.
